oneten doors to defender?

can i get "old style" doors like http://www.discoweb.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=45445&d=1236825188 to fit on an 1997 defender? Are they the same?

OK! when corrosion eats up my doors i get "old style" replacements. kind of cool witk old door handles!

I wish you could still get that style of skin in galvanized, it is almost worth making up a set from scratch but there's way too much left to do on the rest of the 110.

You can still get the skin in alum or an entire new shell.

Yeah, but after the 'good deal but have to replace all 5 doors' experience, putting on galvanized on galvanized from a 2007+ just makes more long-term sense. Should be less wavyness in the panels as well.

I guess I am just lucky to live in Colorado where things do not rust as long as you keep them clean / protected

here they try to melt the snow away instead of plowing it away! Tons of salt on the roads! not good for enviroment nor economy! Teach folks to drive instead!

Here the "road authors" have an "ZERO-vission", means that goal is ZERO kills in road accidents! Thats why they try to keep roads ice&snow free!

Well, these ones didn't rot out here, they went while still living in Oxfordshire, and the sad thing is someone removing the door cards and spraying the inside with a bit of primer every few years at a minimum would have prevented most of it, at least where both the bottom and middle rails totally disintegrated.

Sigh, well at least the new style should last until someone sideswipes them.
