overhead light problem???

so recetly i took off the overhead consul to put a mount in for my navigation system and did not alter or touch any of the wires except the overhead light (purple 2 wired power connector, an ground) and the sunroof connectors. since i put everything back on when the front overhead light is in fully on position, the light works, when it is in door position, it flashes like a strobe light. Any one ever had this before or know whats going on???

Pull it down & reinstall the connector - it sounds like the ground terminal is loose.

see thats the weird thing cause i check the continuity of the ground connector and it was fine. its weird too cause if i hit the light while it is fully on it flashes so there has to be something loose. ill check again tonight. thanx a ton.
