Panama Motor Show 2004

I just came from a car show here in Panama called Panama Motor Show 2004 where they released the Land Rover LR3. There going to be 3 engines to choose from here in Central America at least here in Panama V8 gasoline, V6 gasoline and the awesome TD6 (2.7 L). The prices go from $49,000 to $55,000 . The LR3 doesn?t have the look of a capable off-road truck but as soon as the played a video of the LR3 in action it impresses me, but time will tell how good this LR3 (Discovery 3 for the rest of the world) really is.

I?m going to be at the show again tomorrow and take some pics to post them on the web. If any one would like to see a particular pic from the LR3 let me know (exterior, interior, engine, etc?).

I hope LR offers a swing-away or rearmount spare as an option--maybe like Cayenne?

You can get a full size spare on an alloy wheel as part of the Heavy Duty Package. You also get the rear locker as part of the package.
