Lately the parking lights in my '95 Classic have been "moody"
They don't always come on right away when I activate the switch. By parking lights, I mean all the lights that are supposed to light when the headlight switch is turned one click -the front amber lights, the rear red tail lights, front & rear side markers and the interior instrument panel and dash lights.
It sounds like a relay clicking when they do decide to come on, often several minutes after I've activated the switch.
My headlights (which come on in the second switch position) always work immediately, but at night this can still be dangerous because I have no tail lights. Brake lights work fine.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Is the switch bad or is there a relay somewhere that might be sticking?
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks,
