Several questions here (1995 D1) ....

1. For the crankcase ventillation, is there supposed to be a foam filter? i've heard some people say that there never was one, i personally don't have one. Looking at this picture would you say i need to pull out that wire mesh and clean it?

2. Has anyone heard of the oil additive that is sensitive to UV light so you can check for the location of a leak with a black light?

3. Does the charcoal canister need to be regularly maintained? i've been told not really, but that was in general not for the disco.

no it sppse to be wire thing, not foam.

non absorbing synthetic material it can be though.

There is a uv oil detection additive I just can't remember the name of it.
