Photos of a 2003 with good stuff on it?

I saw a couple of photos of a black 2003 with an ARB, and what looked like about a 3" lift at the "Dunin 4.0" on the EE web site. It was from Washington. I've been trying to find photos of a 2003 with a black ARB (not the stupid silver one they show in the ads) so I could show my wife - if you know what I mean!

Anyway, my 2003 is black too so this is a good chance to get an idea of what it would REALLY look like. If you know who owns that truck I would like to get an email.

By the way, was it stuck on the dune there (probably because of the no-locking diff that we would, "never miss anyway") or was that just an exercise in winching techniques?

Thanks, bhpcbailey@msn.com

Ben,

That's my 2003 DII. It was stuck in the dunes. The reason: At the 30K service when the transmission was serviced the dealer didn't put enough fluid back in it. The low fluid level caused alot of foaming because of the high rpm's in the sand. Before it foamed up it performed just fine out there even without CDL. The fluid and filter were replaced again and it's fine.

Nice - I think the black is nice, but it diminishes the "look" of the new headlights. I have been wondering what a good brushbar would look like. When the warantee runs out in 2008 I will be doing a few things to it. In the mean time, I need to focus on getting the '65 IIa running again - trans is out.

Don't you just love the experts at the dealer?

They're great!!!!

Why are waiting until 2008? I've had warranty work done on mine with all my mods and the dealer hasn't said a thing. Of course nothing that's been worked on is even remotely affected by the mods.

We just bought it, still enjoying the stock vehicle. And I kind of like telling people that I go off-roading in it without also telling them that it has a lift, and big tires, and, and....

But mainly because it would take away my excuse for spending money on the '65.

Well I can't fault you for spending the money on the '65 IIa

Let me know if the wife wants to see any more pics.
