Power locks - lock when driving?

My Jeep Grand Cherokee will automatically lock all doors when it hits 15 mph. My wife goes to college in a part of town that isn't great and I would like to have her doors automatically lock. Is there any way I can wire something to the power door lock switch that will automatically lock the doors when I put it in drive?

Why not just reach over and lock the doors? Or, just let her drive the Jeep.

Cause it will be the one time she doesn't lock the door...... Hell no I am not letting her drive the Jeep, that's mine, I'm 6' 4" and fit better in the jeep, she's 5.0' and fits better in the Rover, plus the Jeep is very modified for performance, can't take my toy.

Disco2 you can. Dealer has to do it through TestBook.

BTW I'm with you on autolocking feature for wives... Just makes me feel better, as I've seen my wife not lock them on occasion.

Hell, when I first met her she didn't wear her seatbelt all the time  Now she wears it ALL the time. I think slamming on the brakes and planting her into the windshield convinced her of that? Can't think how to pop the doors open automatically... :D

I will say she now knows the value of safety belts, as I've shown her how to panic brake from highway speeds since then, and how it so much less drama with your safety belt on [;)]

Hell, we just yanked the parking brake on an LR3 at speed this weekend, try that sometime, it's interesting (do not let go of the parking brake until you stop).

God love my wife for putting up with my shenanigans...

BTW the LR3 allows you to set SpeedLocking from the cruise stalk. Much nicer than asking a dealer to do it via TestBook.
