Pressure with bigger tires

I'm running 255/70/16 Pirelli Scorpians on my Stock D2. Had them for a while but just courious what anyone else is running for pressure in a tire this size. The rover's handling seems a lot more sensitive than my other SUVs and I can't seem to get it quite right. I ran them at 30 in the front 40 in the back for quite a while but that still felt squishy. I bumped the backs to 45. But the fronts are more sensative (not sure if the shocks need replaced, 54K miles on stock shocks).

There are so many things that can effect the steering and handling of a Disco. D2 are less sensative to some of these items. ~35-40 should be fine front and rear. Most tend to run slightly higher in the rear. I run very high pressure on my D1 since I have had great luck with this extending the life of the BFG tires (i.e. 40-45psi), but it is like driving on rocks. I lower for snow and for off road.

From your description, I'd likely try about 35 front and rear. Is it only squishy or are there steering/wandering issues?
