I bought a new outlet for the disco, that the trailer plug plugs into (its a 7 pin standard USA type). The Plug has, in addition to all the other wires, one black one that I think is to power up the emergency battery on the trailer. Is that supposed to tap into the disco battery directly so its on all the time, or only when the ignition is on?
Also what kind of power is going to run through that? Can I tap off of the rover trailer harness? (There was no black there, just a rainbow).
