Is that a LR3 behind it to the left? Looks like it's covered up in places to hide body lines. You think it was a LR3 prototype?

Formerly owned by Land Rover...seller in Warwichsire where Gaydon the test center and heritage museum is location. http://www.touruk.co.uk/warw/war_gayd.htm Photo taken at Gaydon

Given its 1996 model year its clearly a pre 97 d90 line built final prototype retained in LR own fleet for evaluation and sold to an employee/engineer.

Remember they never got our D90s over there. Nearest was the 93 Tdi powered unit that was a test run complete with roll cage etc. Factory built V8 powered D90s are as rare as hen's teeth

Photos probably taken at Gaydon.

of course you could bring it in its a NAS Defender. There was the anniversary 90's in the UK that were essentially a NAS, i think they were in 1998. they had the 4.0

LHD can also be a big buying point over there. If people want a vehicle that is LHD for taking to another country I imagine a NAS V8 4.0 defender would be better than a NATO one with a 4 cyl. diesel 2.5 liter.
