rattle...ARGH!

What does the plastic trapezoidal cover just above the driver's side shoulder belt mount cover? I've got an irritating rattle in there that's making me bananas, and the never-ending string of Hurricanes in the Atlantic is keeping me from using my new RAVE to figure it out!

Any Ideas?

If you figure out how to disable the motion sensors I would be interested. I can't lock the car with the sunroofs open without the alarm going off.

The system should recognize that the sunroofs are open & disable the sensor automatically. Check your owner's manual for instructions on the alarm - I think there's a sequence of button presses &/or door closing that tells it to ignore the volumetric sensor.
