. . . but I couldn't find them on the SafariGuard web site. I spotted one on the winch bumper in the D-90 section, but didn't see them offered as a stand-alone accessory.

Actek is a manufacturer, but I would think they would only sell in significant numbers or to wholesalers.

Nice looking hardware. Next question - what rating? If common sense dictates that the hardware should be as burly as the average winch, then 10,000 lbs. is the closest. The ring with that rating measures 6.5" x 5" with a diameter of almost 1.5 inches. That's huge.

The way I'm reading the dimentions, the 7k-10k rings are 1" in diameter (value for "D"). If we looked at the comparable swivel to the 30k lb. capacity that Land ROver Stuff is offering then this would be 1-3/4 and 5.91x12.47. That is HUGE

I have to wonder whom or where these ratings come from. Maybe Actek is under-rating their product, or the manufacturer of the Land Rover Stuff product is realistic or over-rating.

Although not rotating, these two also look nice:

The Actek products are swivel hoists with huge safety ratings of 5:1 because they are used in lifting operations. However the costs are significant for these things. The fact they swivel is a benefit as non straight pulls reduce the force that can be safely applied. An cheaper/alternative/no better approach to this is to use www.expeditionexchange.com/smb/DSC008366.jpg but rotate the mount 90 degrees so the shackle can turn left or right in the direction of the pull.
