Replacement D1 Door lock Keychain Remote?

Hello,

I just bought a '95 D1 and it didn't come with the Keychain remote for the door locks. There are a bunch on Ebay that claim they can be reprogrammed--is that true? What really are my options for getting a replacement remote? I'm sure going straight to the dealer for a new one would cost a lot of money. Also, does this remote just operate the door locks, or does it also operate the alarm and/or panic button?

1994 & 1995 have 1 button remotes. Check the "Tech" section for programing instructions. I believe the remote only operates the locks and alarm, no panic feature. Keep checking e-bay for remotes. I bought one a few months ago for about $35.00. Good luck!

make sure the remote you get is the one button remote.
