I would NEVER get them to replace mine, but if I were in a pinch and needed a new one, $800 isnt too terribly expensive for a Heated windscreen with wiper speed sensor. I would imagine the LR dealership will be twice as much, but it would be an OEM glass.
I installed glass at a local glass shop prior to joining the USN, and after seeing some of Safelites handy work and the way the Urethane seal would leak and not adhere to the glass or pinch weld, I strongly advise against going with Safelite. Im not too sure if this is helpful, but here is the quote.
