I am getting new tires today, and I looked in the navigation book to findo ut how to reset the navigation for new tires and it did not address the issue. It showed a picture of the menu option, but it did not go into detail. I need someone who has done this to offer up a little advice. Take note that I have not tried anything yet, and this could be a simple fix.

I switch between road "slicks" and A/T tires and rims often, and despite the fairly considerable difference in diameter between the two, I find that the satnav takes very little time to self-calibrate and adjust to the new size. So, in my opinion you don't need to do a thing. However, if you must... From the Navigation Main Menu, select Settings (or Set Up, whatever big square is on the lower left corner...), then select Calibration. There is an option "Choose this after replacing tires" or something to that effect that you can touch on that submenu. I think pressing that button just clears whatever dead reckoning data the satnav may have "learned" with the previous set of tires, so new data can be stored based on the new tires' circumference to better calculate your position when GPS signal is not available.
