Anybody here know what is done at the 30K maintenence interval? I have no clue, just wondering, somebody here at work asked me.

This is maint. schedule of my non-blown 2006 RRS, since Disco/LR3 is essentially the same car/engine I assume the schedule would be very similar, if not identical.
We've got an '06 LR3, and I would guess the following
-1-Dealer recommends tire replacement
-2-Dealer recommends brakes/rotors all the way around
-3-Complimentary car wash
-1-Dealer recommends tire replacement

30,000 MILE SERVICE
Exterior Anti-corrosion check. Use Corrosion Perforation Form
Check condition of wiper blades
Inspect and lube door checks. Inspect hood latch & fuel flap.
Interior Reset the Service Interval Indicator
Check operation of all lights, warning indicators and horn
Check operation of front/rear wiper washer systems
Select LOW range, move vehicle 60 ft and select HIGH
Replace pollen filter
Check condition and security of seats and seat belts
Under Hood Inspect serpentine drive belt
Check and top-up brake, PAS and windshield washer fluid
Check coolant level and freeze protection level Under Vehicle
Change engine oil and replace filter
Remove road wheels
Inspect for brake pad wear, caliper leaks and disc condition
Check tire pressures are set to recommended levels
Check tires for damage and tread depth
Lubricate wheel centers
Install road wheels to opposite side of the vehicle - except uni-directional tires which install on same side
Inspect for under vehicle fluid leaks
Check exhaust system for leaks & damage
Check adjustment of electric parking brake
Inspect steering ball joints for wear, damaged dust covers
Check suspension & body rubber bushings for freeplay
Check conditions of suspension, drive line & steering boots
Inspect brake, fuel lines, PAS hoses, and electrical harnesses for leaks, corrosion or damage

If fault lamps are illuminated use T4 to find the faults and report Road Test

Record performance of Service in Passport to Service
