P2022-9-BSS.

I could swear that the thing I had in my hands today had a stainless steel frame.
Any online source says they have polymer frames.
Bizarre.

It is a wonderful gun. It's a Sig for $400 and you can't go wrong. My first one was 9mm and great to shoot, my second is 40 and still great. It does have a polymer frame and a stainless slide. It's not as easy to break down as the regular P series Sigs, but still very easy to break down and clean... Let me know if you have any other questions... I highly recommend.

That one was a little over $400 - and at a gun show; I asked the guys I was with if I was high or something, and they confirmed that the frame was metal.
Well... in any case, I'll see it again in 10 days.

Peter, grab some pics, please. I'm intrigued, as the only SIGs with a stainless frame that I'm aware off are in the 220 and 226 series (not counting the 1911 SIG).

The P220, 226, 228, 229, 239, and 1911s all have steel frames, but cost considerably more that $400 brand new.

A 2022 new should cost anywhere between $369 - $400, but prices have been going up due to popularity and they seem to hold their value very well.

Believe me, I read all there's about it. Yet, I felt that the frame was metal, friends who were there with me felt it was metal, and the salesperson also commented on it being metal.
There was another brand new 2022 next to it that looked the same but was about $100 cheaper. I only noticed it when I already paid, but left it at that. Thought the difference was due to night sight vs. regular.

Robert, I think that you're mistaken.

While the 220 and 226 come in variations that have a stainless frame, the rest of the 220 series (228, 229, 239 and most of the 220s and 226s) have alloy frames.

You're right, I meant that all of those pistols do not have polymer frames...
