Slow window, or ohaul window reg

I have a 95 d1 with a slow window, winter comes and it gets really slow and hard to put up. The motor actually will thermal overload and stop with the strain of putting up the window. Strange is it only happens when the weather turns cold outside I realize I need to overhaul the window regulator. The 'X' thing is in good shape and those infamous wheels are intact. Any suggestions on what to do? I'll lub the pivot points and track, but should I check any thing else?

So I lubed it over lunch and its still slow. Any ideas how the regulator is suppose to aligned? How about aligning the window frame?

Align

As far as alignment there are a couple of bolts on the regulator for the glass...but if the glass is square you shouldnt have any problem, It sounds to me your motor is worn and you may need to replace it. If you do need one let me know I have a used one for you.

What do you mean square, the window frame to the door? Yea I was wondering if the motor was going. The actual regulator seems to flex towards the window as it goes up, and the window moves fine to a point, then slow, then goes up okay for the last little bit.
