*SOLD* 97 Disco SE - Birmingham, AL

‘97 Disco with 1787XX miles. Cranks up and runs. Needs some TLC. Reach out for specifics. This was my daily driver for 6ish years but had sadly sat, mostly undriven, for the last 2 years. This has been a super fun vehicle to own but I need to part ways. This most likely won’t be a daily driver in its current condition, so the next owner will need to be willing to devote some time to restore to its former glory. $3500 or best offer. Depending on where the seller is located, may need to trailer. I do drive this around locally on the weekends, so mileage may go up.


First, the bad:

• Paint is not great;
• The door panels have a weird brown top edge from sun damage maybe, but they need to be painted or replaced
• The sunroofs occasionally work, but they do leak
• Windshield was hit with a rock and has a crack; it’s in front of the passenger in the bottom corner but it will need replacing
• The brake system has been worked on piece-by-piece (new front rotors, hubs, brake pads, new master cylinder), but could use an overhaul
• Headliner is a bit droopy
• Seals are ready to be redone
• Fuel gauge is on the fritz (shows zero fuel then it shows correct fuel... I'll fill it all the way up if you buy it!)

Things that have been replaced or that work!

• New Alternator
• Re-built Fuel pump, new fuel filter
• head gaskets done by PO
• LR rubber rear cargo cover

Things the PO did that excited me

• rebuilt steering box
• new MAF
• new catalytic converters
• new front turn signals
• new radio

• NO COOLANT LEAKS on this truck
• minimal rust on this truck

• Comes with various other parts I have. Lots of switches and doodads off the LKQ truck. MAF, exterior mirrors, etc. You will get the original rear bumper, rear light protectors, and Land Rover bull bar. (Those last two need to be refinished which is why PO took them off, but they're free to you, so what the heck...)
• Comes with one key and one remote
