Been running Champion truck plugs 4404 with Magnecor wires for years in my 92 RRC and 96 4.0se. Both run great, no problems or complaints, cheap and available just about anywhere. $400 for plug wires, what a waste to put in an ancient lump of an engine. Get the Magnecor's for $60 and spend the remainder on more important things like Beer!

Champion RN11YCC is the genuine, original plug. It is a European plug, not readily available in the US, except through LR dealers or RN or mailorder or etc. etc.

RN11YC4 is the same size plug, and as close to the original as you can get. It is also listed as a 322.

The difference is: The CC is a double-copper core, meaning that both the center electrode and the side one both have a copper core. The C4 only has a copper core in the center electrode.

Champion also has a plug, the 3322, which is a Platinum Power plug. It has the double copper core, with platinum around it. some folks like this one and usually its around U$1.50 each.

hope this helps.

Interesting, I never knew that. I did get the plugs from Europe though, and not for $1.50 each

I use the RN12YC, slightly hotter than stock. I used NGKs previously and they ran very well (might have the "double copper").
