Speakers: Front drivers side cutting out.

My front drivers side speaker is cutting out. Sometimes it works fine and other times its silent. Most of the time, the speaker cuts out when I make a turn; mostly when making left hand turns. I've read somewhere that it might be a bad or corroded connection at the Amp. Where is this Amp loctated? Am I on the right track?

what year is your truck?

it's most likely the connection on the speaker, check that 1st.

89 classic. All speaker connections are good as well as connnections to the receiver.

The amp should be under the cubby box liner. Should just be one Amp in your '89. Later models had a 2nd one mounted in the back. Let me know if you need a replacement amp.
