I just got back from the trails and tried a hole that was much deeper than it appeared. Water got past the air filter and into the intake hose. A very small amount got into the intake manifold. As soon as I was pulled out, we cleaned it up replaced the filter with a T-shirt spread across the air box and clamped securely. Started up, sputtered, and smoothed out nicely. Made it back camp no problems. Headed home and drivetrain felt like it had a little vibration, but nothing real bad. After about 30 min of 70mph I took an exit and it shaked violently under throttle up the off ramp. Then the amber check engine light came on. Got home and found a P1179 Fuel COMP LO and an explanation of Fuel composition sensor circuit high input. I cleared it and drove it a few times and it came back on. Anyone have any idea what this is or where this sensore is? I have to go out of town Tue and would like to figure out if I can fix it or take it 3 hours to the nearest mechanic I trust. 98 D1
