I agree, just be out with the damn thing.

Handling will be different at first, but after a few hours you won't notice it anymore.

It will be noticeable at first, but again, after a short period of time you subconciously adjust to it. However, if you remove both sway bars without upgrading to stiffer shocks/springs (i.e. the lift you mentioned doing), the truck will be noticeably more unstable at high speeds and under hard braking.

Just take out the back one for now, and then when you get a lift kit you can take out the front one.

Mine came off when I did the lift. FWIW I had hit the rear one so hard at one point, one end was above the axle, the other end below.....

I used a long piece of pipe as a lever and jammed it between the frame and the bracket and was able to bend it back into shape (well, close enough), then I took the sway bar off anyway 'coz I put the stiffer OME springs on.

I didn't notice when I removed the rears. A week later I removed the fronts. It took about a week to get used to, but it seems normal now.

Just do it, and if you don't like it, put it back on.

PS...Looks like I am back to post # 1...again!!!

how much wouild it affect if i removed the front sway bar.

I removed both sway bars from my 95 several years ago and never looked back. Daily driver in Atlanta.
What you get is more body lean, just need to get used to it and realize you aren't really going to roll. Oh, and more axle articulation, as someone said.
