Newb here with a 2000 DII,

I just had the front/rear brakes serviced from my local brake shop a couple days ago and the TCS and Brake warning lights just turned on. It happened twice today.Anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks

what did you have them put on? LR claims that aftermarket rotors mess with the abs system. Maybe if something is out of balance, who knows. i think it all bs and their system just sucks so they look to blame everything else. do the lights stay on or jsut come on occaisinaly?

Two things could be happening, an ABS sensor could have been jarred or the new pads are not seating properly yet and this will cause a chatter that the ABS sensors will pick up on.
You need to go back to the brake shop and have them check the system. Also find out what brand the pads were and did they do a brake flush, unrelated to your problem , but should have been done.
By the way, how many miles on the truck?

Brake shop resurfaced front rotors and cleaned up brake assembly, they didn't replace the front pads. The rear rotors/pads were replaced. Lights only turn on when I'm at a complete stop, but goes away after a while.

Also my battery light turn on when I've got the pedal to the floor going up hill.

I just hit 95k on the truck. With the TCS light, could it be I put on some new tires? I just put on a set of 245/75/16 Goodyear MT/R's.

Thanks for the replies!!!
