I got one of these for christmas and so a few days ago pulled it out and got it assembled. Suprisingly, assembly was a little bit of a pain, but once it was together it was good.

This thing burns HOT. No worries about a pansy fire. After the 30 minute initial burn period (I let it go 45 just to be sure) the beef was applied.

Overall this is the coolest grille ever and it works wonderfully. It is quite portable and fairly easy to clean.

The debate between charcoal and gas...I do believe charcoal produces a better flavor but the convienence factor of this gas grille is what makes it a good one.

Im a Beacher Surf Caster this is where i use my disco the most.

This season Charcoal has been banned on the beach along with fires.
an 8yr old girl walking through the sand walked into a fire pit that was covered with sand from the previous beachers and lost 10 toes from the burn.

so now know one is alowed to have fire (knee jerk reaction of course)
so im back to my mini webber gas grill but i do prefer charcoal miked with different hardwood.
the choice was made for me.

I am sorry but " Long Live The Woodflame ! "

http://www.woodflame.com/

I just love that thing and it gets hotter and quicker than any gas or charcoal grill. And you can use it on any surface, it does not get hot under it. You can easily take it anywhere and cools down in no time with no mess.

Down side is you need battery power, or 12 volt dc or 120 ac.

But just fill it up with any hard wood (I like maple it gives it a nice taste) and presto !

My 0.02 $

I have used the Delecto for 4 years now and have changed the grill once. I have teken the thing camping and used all sorts of hard woods that I could find right there. It is reealy a cool thing.

We are in the middle of winter here and we still use the thing regularly at least once a week.

I use here as my main bar-b-que and the only down side apart from needing power is the fact that it hase no upper grill for heating stuff or just to keep something warm.

I also like the fact that you can smoke stuff. Realy nice with fish or pork.

Hope that helps.
