LAND ROVER G4 CHALLENGE RETURNS IN 2005 WITH NEW MODELS
... Stung by critism that the first G4 was too soft and didn't feature enough serious off-roading, organisers are planning a real jungle grueller....

... This time around, they'll be sweating it out in the rainforests of South-East Asia and South America. And they'll be putting the off-road capabilities of the latest Discovery and the yet-to-be-launced "baby" Range Rover through their paces.
Land Rover is discreet about its plans, but insiders at Solihull and Gayon have told us that the vehicles and their rugged off-road abilities will be the stars of G4 2005. Both Discovery 3 and baby Range Rover will have underbody protection and winching equipment - essential for struggling through the muddy, overgrown jungle tracks....
... This will be Land Rover's opportunity to prove that the new technology like Terrain Responce is not just a gimmick. It will keep Discovery 3 and baby Range Rover going in conditions that would defeat most 4x4's....
