Trans fluid change

I had the transmission fluid and filter changed on Friday at the dealership. Now it seems that it will not shift into 4th gear until it is warmed-up. I don't remember it doing this before. I have a 99 D2 with automatic trans. Any ideas?

How cold was it when this happened? The only time that I really notice my Disco sticking in Third Gear is when it is below freezing before everything warms up. (You really notice it when it is 20 below zero.) I usually try to keep the RPMs down until everything warms up and then I drive it normally, (still drive kind of hard.)

Any of the transmission trouble lights coming on? (The blinking M and S lights?)

It has been in the 40's F here. It shifts smoothly and seems to be OK, ie no slipping or harsh shifts. It just doesn't shift into 4th until the vehicle is warmed-up. I didn't think about the cooler weather, that may be the issue. Although 40 degrees F is not all that cold.

my D2 does the same thing. it is normal -- the system lets the torque converter warm up before 4th gear is used. let the it run for a few minutes on cold days before driving it, seemed to make mine go alittle smoother.
