Anyone know what the stock# is for the TReK DII stock wheels. I am talking about the black wheels that they put on the orange trek vehicles. Also, any clues as to who might carry them used other than LR? thanks

I don't know anything about the Trek wheels but i know i started a thread a while ago about powdercoating wheels when i was considering doing it. I looked for the thread through the acrives but couldnt find it. I thought i would offer it as a suggestion if you just wanted black LR wheels.

I am guessing when I bought my trek rig from the dealer swapped out the black rims for the stock silver alloys (which look pretty good). I was just considering trying to put her back to a a more stock look. Certainly not a high priority, just curious. I couldn't find any info after searching the web.

Rob,

Just find that imparticular wheel, or use the ones that you have. Get them powder coated black. Then take the center caps and tape up the Land Rover symbol, and spray paint them black. Once you get the wheels back from powdercoating, you will probably need to sand paper the inside of the wheel where it fits over the hub. If not, they will be hard to get on. That is how the TReK wheels were done.

Thanks for the info guys. I wouldn't have guessed those were just powder coated. Sometimes the simplest solutions are overlooked. :D

Will do. However, it is down the list on 'things I want to do'. Plus the wife sucked my truck account dry with this 'honeymoon' crap in the caribean. Where are her priorities? ;)
