valve job now my d1 almost stalls....

just got a valve job about three weeks ago and lately the the truck (disco 1 95) has been almost stalling. this happens when coming to a stop..so when the idle goes down it almost stalls. can the stepper motor be adjusted? i know its works...any other ideas as to what it might be also the problem is intermittent. but it will happen once a day..

Sorry to jump in, but my 97D1 has a low idle, almost stalling. I am about to go crazy tracking it down. Kyle, any help? Thanks

Chris, this sounds like a TPS (throttle Position Switch) to me. Remove and clean. Located right next to the vacuum line going into the intake on the drivers side. Has a 2 or 4 wire lead going to it I forget.

Remove and clean with Carb cleaner.
