VSS Problem or Other?

Misfires really bad (Odd cyl only) while under load. Usually over 2K rpm.

Sometimes worse than others. I know the VSS was problematic, as the engine cuts out while driving on the highway. This new problem just started.

It feels like the gas is cutting off. I replaced the fuel pump and it didn't fix.

Ordered a new VSS today. What else could it be if that doesn't fix it?

Bad MAF? Swap one out with someone else and test.

Thought about that. How hard of a job would that be?

It just plugs in between the air box and plenum. You need to find someone with the same type. Careful of the o-ring on the air box side.

Plug wires grounding out?

Thought about that, too.
Changed plugs and wires. Seemed to work better with the Magnacores, but now it is back to its evil ways.
Changed them again, but it didn't help.
