I have a 96 Disco series I, with 92K on the clock. Last night, I noticed after parking it for about 35-40 min. It was driven for about 10 min., there was a pool of water(not coolant) just to the back of the right front tire. This is the second time it has happened. Hasn't rained in 4 days, and the A/C was not on. Should this be a concern?
THANKS!

I have the same water issue, I have taken up the carpet and patched holes in the floor and up around the footwell on the right side, thought i was ok but then last weekend had to run an errend and was out in poring rain for about half an hour and water again on the floor UNDER the carpet, so i looked under the wiper cowling and other than dust all secure.... my next place to look is the windcreen seal, I did notice a piece of trim pulled away at the top corner on the right... let me know if you find any other places to check and i will do the same...... anyone else have some insight? -Andy

the windshield is the problem -- it was for my 96 disco I anyway. i was getting the wet carpet on the pass side, then realized that my windshield was leaking along the top. had it resealed at local glass shop -- no more wet carpet. hope this helps man.

Oh, one more thing... the water that I am noticing is on the ground, as opposed to being in the cabin... THANKS

Did you drive through water somewhere? Is your w/s washer tank leaking? The little check valves commonly rot out & leak.

I had a leak there as well on my 99 D1. It was the check valve going back to the rear window. Replaced it and everything works great and no leaking.
