Can't find any mention of what this is in the manual(s) :banghead:

It's in the lid of my center console - appears to be a docking connector of some kind..

Anyone know what it's for?

Thats exactly what it is, it's there so if you have a european spec phone you can cradle it in but ive never found a phone in the states that works with it.

You have to get an adapter that mounts to that, which is phone specific. They have been discontinued as by the time they got a new adapter to market....the phone was off the market. Basically it would charge your phone and run your phone off the cars antenna.

If you need to reclaim some storage space there, you can unscrew and chuck the connector from under the armrest and cut off / cap the wiring going to it without any side effects on the Bluetooth end of the system. Might as well since the connector is now officially obsolete. I think MY09s will no longer include it.

Was actually thinking of chopping it out, but still using the power feed I assume is in there to run an iPod or something - nice and neat and out of the way.

Will need to do some research before I void my warranty and kill the truck!
