Does anyone know how deep into water you can take a stock 95 Disco ? Ken |

You're limited by the lowest vulnerable point, which, on a stock Disco, would be the differential breathers I think. So you're looking at a couple of feet, about the top of the tires. If you put extensions on those the next opening would be the inlet of your airbox. If you put on a snorkel kit, you could effectively drown yourself while driving (but you'd start having some electrical problems). You're not thinking of driving to Hawaii or anything are you?

AB sells a breather kit for 35 bucks I believe...I saw it at MAR..damn my limited cash flow that weekend...so many toys..so much candy...looked pretty good though, at least as nice as the stock eqiupment on it new. |
