I am thinking of purchasing a front brush bar for my Discovery I from one of these two businesses. Aside from price differential, does anyone have an opinion one way or the other on their merchandise, customer relationships, quality?

I have bought from both with pleasant experiences. I would base it on the price and product that best fits your needs. If both are equal, then maybe consider shipping distances. I think both will give you equal service.

I've had good luck with both. I do order more from AB because they are closer to me and I get the order the next day.

What kind of brushbar are you looking for? Maybe someone on this board has one for sale for a fraction of the price.

Good luck.

John,
Ive used AB for lots of years on many different Rovers (RR's,D90,D1) and have had nothing but great dealings w/ Brad and Mike. Always good stuff, great service and never a prob w/ the few times I returned stuff. Never dealt w/ DAP, but never heard anything bad either. As w/ any Rover parts supplier, check around on the prices to make sure everyone is in line.....FWIW.

They are both very good. AB is more for OEM parts though. If each company offers the identical product, buy from whoever's cheaper.

I've dealt with both. AB since about '77 or so, Al at DAP since about '79 or '80. Nothing but exceptional experiences with Al. I rarely buy from AB anymore, unless they are the only folks who have the part I'm looking for.
