I have lived in CT most of my life and I purchased a 2000 D2 new. For two years though I can't find any trails in this damn state and a major problem is that no one wants to tell you where they are. Well who the hell told you? I understand that there are to many people maybe going to these trails. I know just of one called aircraft road but thats closed now. I am willing to join a club but I can't do any of those overnight long term events. Just quick weedend one day sort of thing.

Where in CT? I don't live there now but I grew up there. I go back often. Maybe we can meet up.

Pete, most clubs do a one day trail ride. Look into the West CT Rover club, great bunch of people.

As far as the trails go, yes, most of them are closed (Aircraft Rd, Lamentation, etc). There are a few trails still open but no one wants to say where they are because they are afraid that the wrong folks will go and tear up the trail ...

We have a group here in NY/NJ/CT that get together a do some trails in NY/NJ and MA. Ocassionaly we get together and have a shop day and work on our LRs. You are welcome to join us one of these shop days so you can meet the group and come wheelin' with us. Send me an email and I'll let you know when our next get together or trail run is. Just be aware that some of the trails we do have lots of rocks and you will have some body damage if your Disco is stock.

Later,

John C.
