Does anyone have these? Are they strong enough to use as a jacking point?? Great price just don't want them to be to weak to take the abuse.

I tried finding out information here on DW a few months back and no one was familiar with them. I bought a set to test and strongly recommend not getting a set. I took my off after a minor blow damaged my front quarter. They mount by booms much like running boards so they offer very little protection. Also they are too tall so they significantly reduce your clearance. If you tried to use them as a jacking point, you could really mess things up.

I just put a set that I got from Thatched Roof Garage on my Range Rover Classic. They are made by Bearmach, which is an English supplyer. They aren't the most heavy duty, but for a meadium duty slider I think they will do great. I took a High-Lift and jacked up one side pretty high, and the slider didn't move a bit, it did great. They do hang down a bit, but they become the lowest point hanging down besides the exhaust, so if you go over a ledge all that will get bent will be the exhaust. If you do get them, get the Galvanized, and just spray paint them black, that's what I did. For the price you can't beat 'em!

Aren't Will & Neal speaking of the same slider? I believe DAP is a Bearmach dealer. Correct me if Im wrong.

you're right. Althought if you read Will and my postings it sounds like we are talking about different ones. Perhaps Will's opinion will chage once they take a mild hit and damages his quarter. You can get 10 times more protection for probably about $100 more. Hold out and get stronger sliders.

Neal,
I noticed that you did MAR without sliders. Any damage ( other than to your rack & roof) ?

I had no damage. I was more likely to have damage with the sliders since my clearance would have been reduced.
