I went from a 1962 Sunbeam Alpine to a '94 Disco1 so I'm still trying to get a handle on "newer" vehicles. The diagnostic computers I've seen for LR's are around $10K but I can't believe you all have such expensive readers (no offense). What are you guys using to read codes? (pardon my naiveté) Jim |

Jim: The '94 really does require the computer to read the codes, but, there is a diagnostic readout beneath the passenger seat that has some limited readout capabilities. Now for my soapbox! I have yet to see the diagnostic readout throw a good code! Worse yet, I have yet to see an autologic or testbook work right either, if they worked, I wouldn't have dash lights on! Paul |
