How do I go about replacing the headlight bulb on a 94 Disco? It looks like I have to remove the entire housing, but I'm unsure how to do it, especially since I don't have the manual. Thanks all!

Headlight has three mount screws with a plastic/nylon base and catch assy. Release the catch and rotate the base, the headlamp assy will come out to the front of the vehicle. Unplug electrical connector and release the lamp. Assemble in reverse order. Try not to turn the mount screws as that will change the location of aim of the headlight.

Not quite as hard as you thought. In case you have the owners manual, it should be in there as well. Have fun and enjoy your Rover!

Release/Rotate???

Just pull forward - it is held in by three ball/socket clips. Once out unplug the connector, pull off the rubber boot and then just unclip the spring wire clip holding in the bulb. R&R the bulb (do not touch the glass of the new bulb) and reinstall. Just push the three corners of the headlamp until they "click"

Pull forward?? What?

I slid my hand down behind.... pulled the boot back and unplugged the bulb, and unclipped the spring-wire, removed the old bulb. As Bill said, don't touch the glass on the new bulb... just slide it in and put the retaining wire in place, replug and adjust the boot...

No need to mess with the light assembly itself just to change the bulb.

And, I'm not a little guy either, and I could squeeze my hand in there w/o much trouble... a little snug, but easily doable....

FWIW...
