Hi I have a 95 disco and out of the blue yesterday it started running like crap intermitenly acting like it was out of gas or somebody pulled a few spark plug wires off. Truck barely wanted to maintain a 30 mph. The power seems to come and go on a about a 20 or so second interval but does not hold to a consistent patern. Thought it was the cats because they started rattling all of the sudden. Cleaned them out and still no change. Tried spark plugs and no help. Original code came up as 50 after reseting and cleaning out cats is know a 44. Looking for someplace to start checking possibly sensors or fuel pump. Any advice would be greatly apprciated. Thanks Daniel |

Check your ignition cables sounds like they could be failing .. |

I just put a new set of cables on probably a thousand miles ago. I doubt that it is due to old or deteriorating cables. Possibly something in the distributor. |
