The factory alarm sometimes goes off sometimes as soon as I turn the key in the door lock. Or, sometimes it goes off over and over again for no reason, and my neighbors really like the extremely loud horn @ three in the morning. is there anyway to dial down snesitivity? or do I just come home atnight and pull the fuse for the horn and flashers? |

What year Disco? My 95 would do that sometimes and I think it was because I was turning the key to unlock and back too fast or wasn't turning it far enough to tap the disarm switch in the door latch mechanism. If that's not your problem then it is also possible that the switch in the door mechanism is broken, bent, or just out of adjustment and isn't disarming when you turn the key. On my 95 if I don't want the alarm to arm I just have to hold the key in the lock position for more than 5 seconds and the alarm doesn't arm. Shane |

I have a 1998 DI that has an alarm that will engage during the day for no reason. |
