OK, so my radio breaks. What's a good alternative that will work with the CD player? 1996 Land Rover Discovery Dealership says it's a Pioneer |

I spoke to the dealership and they have a deal worked out with: Pioneer Communications of America 2161 Dividend Drive Columbus, Ohio 43228 614-771-1050 Send then your radio and $110.00 and they will fix it and send it back. Has anyone done this? Otherwise I was quoted $250.00 for a used radio and $800+ for a new one. |

How bout $200. for a head unit from a '95 Discovery? It was taken out and replaced, and is in great condition! Controls CD player, can be controlled from dash controls, is designed for that system. Three great reasons to buy it! LOL I'm located in N.Y. if anyone wants to come down and pick it up. Or, I could mail it. First E-mail takes it. |

Damn I feel bad, when I replaced my entire stereo system I pitched the radio and all the speakers in trash, I would have given it to you. People should be ashamed to try and get anything over $50 bucks for that p.o.s. stereo. sounds like a good reason to upgrade to something better. |

So maybe the consenus is to upgrade and save the other one for when you sell it. I could use the cargo space under the seat and just get an indash CD player. |
