What is the most efficient / least expensive (cheap bastard)approach to flushing the system? I plan to flush, then replace hoses and thermostat.
Yeah, I realize that I have been very negligent regarding my cooling system. I have 53K, and I have not yet flushed the system. I am going to replace valve covers this weekend so I might as well do the cooling system hoses replacement also. Oh yeah, Thanks to Nathan once again for beating the hell out of the local market prices for parts!!!

I am getting ready to do the same service. I got most of the info I needed from http://www.d-90.com/~daveg/60kservice/main.html Lots of nice pictures and pretty straight forward expanation. If its not freezing here it may get done
