Nick - I had the same problem I finally traced it to a crack in the body seam filler under my roof gutter at the rear passenger-side corner. My fix was to go to my local Ace hardware and get some clear no-leak sealer. I can't think of what it is called but it was sold in a quart can, and looked like thick polyurethane. It dries slow, so it runs into the crack and seals it up. Worked great, dried clear and you would never know it was in there. -Marc |

Nick, Check for corrosion on the bottom edge of your alpine windows, there is one spot about 4" off center that seems to rust out on every 94-96 I've ever seen... Also, check for cracked rear window seals or the most obvious of all - sunroof. Worth a look... Chuckster |

Mine (a '95) did that 2 different ways: The drain hose that runs down through the pillar was blocked. The alpine window leaked. I moved to California to fix that one! |

I have a 95 D1 and I'm getting the same wet floor in the rear left and right side. I can see the water leaking from what looks to be the seam and dripping down at the clump of sealler that looks like bondo but I can't figure out where it is comming in. My real question is if I take the trim from the inside of the alpine window to see if that is were its commin in will I be able to put it back please help it stinks so bad |
