Im looking to replace my factory wheels with a set of steel wheels. Im running 235/85 16 tires and wanted suggestions for a particular brand, model, or place to pick them up at? Do these come with the same back spacing as the factory wheels? I want to keep the turning radius the same as the alloy rims and keep the tire in the wheel well to prevent rubbing. Thanks David |

IMHO, the Disco steel wheels, aka the spare, is the best looking. Wolf rims are cool, but I'm not sure about 'em on a Disco. Series wheels, tho', are great, and cheap! Check out Alyssa's in the gallery, w/ her yellow Series wheels.... If you're interested in Series wheels, check out the Thatched Roof Garage....

yeah i dig alyssa's wheels. catapilar yellow is cool. just watch out for big ass rocks if you are riding shotgun with her. hehe. that is case in point where steel is nice. drove down the road to some yocal tire shop and they bent it back. nice. |

All genuine LR steel wheels are good. LR uses some thick steel. Alyssa hit that rock REALLY hard and blew the tire off the bead then the wheel hit the rock. Had I had a sledge hammer and high pressure air I could have field fixed it buy $5 at the local redneck place and back in business for 235 85 R16 pretty much any would work NATO, NAS 110, Disco spare, even 5.5in SIII/D90/D110 R.O.W. the NADA SIII 15inx6in is what alyssa has compared to the GCR wheels LR wheels are much stronger, but yoiu don't get the better offset.
