Can power front seats from '00 DII be switched out with the manual and if so do the manual seats afford more fore/aft travel? Does anyone want to trade? I'm too tall for these front seats. Thanks! (are there any aftermarket alternatives??) |

Have you considered removing the seats from their mounting rails; moving the mounting rails for the electric seats about an inch back (yes, you will have to drill holes); and replacing the seat on the rails. I did this on another vehicle with great success. I need to do this on my disco (01) but really haven't had the time to play with it yet (I just suffer in a small spot). Let me know if it works. |

Do a search in the archives about moving the seats in a D2. I think there are holes already drilled for this purpose. Best of luck. Mike B. |

i think that is only for a D1...the mounts for a 2 are different and it will require some drilling and fab work. if anyone figures it out though, please post as i would love to move the drivers seat an inch back... |
