When making sharp right turns my front right hub "clunks" severely. It has a slight leak from one of the seals but I have been topping it off with gear oil. Does anyone know what may be causing this before I go out and take it apart?

Could be worth checking swivel bearings as well! (cheaper fix, anyway!) with movement push/pull hands located 12' - 6' it's might be that - with movement 9'-3' it may be wheelbearings? Just had Sw.bearing disintegrated on my 300Tdi - only a slight vibe when driving but terrible noise when turning /chris |
