Here's a question to all the Disco2 owners out there...
Do all SALTY VIN Disco2's have CDL nipples, the nut on top of the transfer case that locks the CDL mechanism? |

I think the SALTY part just shows that it's an NAS spec DII. Has nothing to do with the x-fer case. If I'm not mistaken, all of the US spec DII's start with SALTY. |

yeah...the salty bit is just vintalk...it is my understanding that the last half of '01 and all of '02 do not have the cdl bolt. there was talk of it's return in '03, but i am not sure anyone has really comfirmed this... |

Someone on the yahoo group just got the 03 and it did NOT have the CDL bolt. |
