roverconnection.com has some cool raised decals that replace it. I think AB sells the stock ones.

Are those raised decals the same as the ones on the newer Disco's?

No, they are just an aftermarket deal.

The DII style raised "Land Rover" decal i got from Roverconnection did have a LR part number on the package and it was a perfect fit. Im not sure if it was a bootleg or what but it was worth the money to me. AB did not sell those 3 months ago when i checked...

PS i also got the rear V8 and Discovery Decal also
same quality

Local hardware store. Two cans flat black paint. 1 roll Masking tape. From home, some old newspaper. Clean the bonnet, mask it, spray it, remove masking, allow to dry. Total cost, less than $10

He is talking about the actual "Land Rover" logo not the glare reduction thing.

Kevin, I just replaced mine. Atlantic British had the hood decal for about $35 (if I remember correctly). When you put it on, clean the surface dry with alcohol, then put some soapy water on it, place the decal just right (you can adjust it slightly because of the soap), squeegy out all the water, then carefully remove the paper backing.
