Hello, Thanks to you helpful people over here at discoweb, I recently/finally programmed my one button alarm for my 94 Discovery. I have one problem. When i lick and unlock the doors, everything locks and unlocks with the exception of the drivers side door. When I use the key or manually unlock and lock the doors by pulling/pushing the drivers side lock, everything works. Is this a commen problem? has anyone expereinced the same things? Any idead what the problem might be or any tips before I pull off the door panel and start messing around? Thanks in advance! Nate |

Make sure that you do not lick the doors on too cold of a day ;-) I have the same issue with the passenger side lock, but so far have been too lazy to take a look under the panel. |

When you try to unlock it with the remote does the drivers side button come up but just not enough for it to completely unlock but using the key lets you "force" it up a little more???? This happened to me a while back and it was as simple as taking off the panel and moving the rod connected to the lock button (I guess it isn't really a button though) over as it was getting pinched in-between the panel and inside frame of the door. I messed mine up by stepping on the lock button while climbing out of the window after I got stuck in a deep mud hole. Sorry if my explanation makes no sense, if you're problem is like I described it isn't a hard fix just remove the panel and poke around you'll figure it out. Feel free to email me or post back if you have any questions. |
