I am thinking of replacing some of my door seals. Has anyone tried this with non-genuine automotive weatherstripping? Any advice or experiences? '95 D1 |

You can buy the door channel rubber and form your own, Look for some automotive trim suppliers. Also the rubber cushion can be found on line through RV parts sources, ( I got some for a Winnebago door last year it looks identical) but gluing to the flex channel and it staying in place for very long thats a tough one, If you can remove all the old material, it needs to be really clean then get some professional 3M rubber adhesive it might be worth it. But Labor materials IMO you might save money just getting a new one. There not that badly priced if you shop around. Then again if its a beater trail rig glue the rubber right to the door Try Discount Rovers or Roverconnection Good luck |
